Meet your Escape Team!

Escape with Movement was born from a love of moving our bodies for JOY! Many of our backgrounds are in professional dance and we have then taken this love and dedication to caring for our bodies, to move into the fitness industry. We hope to share our passion for movement with as many people as possible. Our varied qualifications and experiences provide our MOVERS with a mixed schedule of livestream and online classes and our retreats are all about escaping and embracing all those joyful feelings!

I started Escape with Movement to spend more of my time doing what I love, MOVING my body!!

Dancing from such a young age meant a childhood filled with movement and the opportunity to turn my hobby into a career. I am incredibly fortunate to work in fitness alongside my roles in the dance and theatre industry and have spent the last 7 years gaining further qualifications and experience.

In 2023 I received my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate with Bend it Like Buddha in the Algarve, Portugal and in 2024 renewed my Pre and Post Natal certificates.

Life can bring some huge highs and some difficult lows. There are so many different ways to move our bodies and I am grateful for the joy it brings me at the good and the bad times. I hope to share this with as many people as possible and encourage everyone to find the ways they love to move.

Oh, and I LOVE the sunshine!!

    TOP 3 WAYS TO MOVE: PILATES, BOXFIT & BARRE

    Training professionally in dance and musical theatre from a young age meant movement and well being have always been a top priority in my life. I moved away from musical theatre and into fitness 6 years ago where I began teaching dance based group exercise classes such as barre and dance cardio as well as fitness focussed classes like boxfit (a personal fave) and lifting weights.

    I more recently found a passion for pilates and reformer pilates, as the elements of control and precision link to my original love of dance! Bringing this element of precision into all my workout classes allows you to fully understand the movement in order to see improvement and build strength. Above all, I believe that movement should be incorporated into our lives because it makes us feel good, so finding something you enjoy to help your overall well-being is what you should focus on!

    My classes are always full of sparkle, positivity and endorphin boosting energy. With a professional background in dance and performing arts, I advanced my knowledge by gaining my Personal Training certificate during lockdown.

    I pride myself on creating an environment which is inclusive of all abilities and a safe space for you to find the fun in fitness! However, don’t be fooled by my sweet aesthetic - I will ALWAYS (safely) push you to new limits! You will leave my classes feeling energised, incredibly proud of yourselves and wanting more!

    Join Charlotte for our weekly livestream classes and at our UK retreats and events. She continues to work as a dancer and model and we are so lucky to have her as a part of our Escape team.
